Is that important to know Switzerland's Climate?

Most of people just know that Alaska and Switzerland have the same climates; both of them are cold and full of snow. However, you have to know that Switzerland has temperate climates in every area. So, you have to check the weather before you go there.

For your information, in South side of the Alps is warmer than in north of the Alps. Usually, the temperature in Switzerland will be 30° C / 86° F in summer and -2° C / 29° F in winter.

Here is detailed of information that I got:

1. There is an average of 1756 hours of sunlight per year with an average of 4.8 hours of sunlight per day

2. There are 147 days per year with more than 0.1 mm (0.004 in) of rainfall (precipitation) or 12 days with a quantity of rain, sleet, snow etc. per month
